My career in real estate began in the late 1990s, when I started working in residential home valuation and learning how to analyze what truly determines a home’s value. By the mid-2000s, I had become an entrepreneur—running my own appraisal business while raising a family, serving in my church community, and working 60–80 hour weeks. Those years taught me discipline, resilience, and something that continues to guide my work today: accurate home valuation is the foundation of every successful real estate decision.
During those years as an appraiser, real estate agents regularly came to me for advice about how to determine the true market value of a home. They wanted help understanding pricing, comparable sales, and market trends. It became clear that there was a real need in the market for professionals who truly understood how to evaluate property value and translate that knowledge into smart pricing strategy. That realization ultimately led me to transition from appraisal into full-time residential real estate sales in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota.
Interestingly, I never imagined myself as a real estate agent. In my mind, agents were outgoing, extroverted, and the life of the party. I’ve always been more of the data-driven market analyst—the person who enjoys studying trends, analyzing comparable sales, and understanding what truly drives home values. I never thought of myself as a salesperson, but I did know I was someone who genuinely loved helping people make informed decisions.
Today, that perspective has become one of my greatest strengths.
With more than 27 years of experience in residential real estate and home valuation, I help buyers and sellers throughout the Twin Cities Minnesota market understand the factors that influence property value. My background as an appraiser allows me to guide clients with clarity when it comes to pricing strategy, negotiation, and identifying real value in a property.

Over the years I’ve also invested heavily in real estate marketing education, studying modern strategies that help homes stand out in today’s competitive market. I don’t simply place a listing on the MLS and hope buyers find it. I use a combination of strategic pricing, digital marketing, social media exposure, and targeted promotion to reach the right buyers and maximize visibility.
Looking back, it’s incredible how the dots connected. What began as a career in home valuation eventually evolved into a role where I can combine market analysis, strategy, and service to guide people through one of the most important financial decisions of their lives.
